about

"Arachnephilia" is song written for Stonewall's fiancé, when they were just friends. It is a song about how love isn't always all at once, and often is like a spider's slow wrapping around and around, especially with the people that stick with us.

This song was recorded on 9/10/2011 in a recording session at Paul Langford's studio in Chicago (paullangfordmusic.com) during a session originally intended to be a demo of five or songs. We were productive enough to go ahead and record a full album of songs.

lyrics

There’s more beauty in you than I think that I see
So keep it close, woven down, pulled tighter into
Needles like needles, pull me in
When will I see your face again, when will I see your face again

Wrap me, once more
Wrap me, one more time around

There’s more beauty in you than I think that I see
So keep it close, woven down, pulled tighter into
Needles like needles, pull me in
When will I see your face again, when will I see your face again

Wrap me, once more
Wrap me, one more time around
time around

I’ll be your swan
and you my dawn
the sun our memory

I’ll be your swan
and you my dawn
the sun our memory
